How to use a lavalier microphone

Compared to other microphones, lavalier microphones may be less commonly seen, but they are commonly used for self media, interviews, and other purposes. So how do you use lavalier microphones?
1. Secure the collar microphone to the collar of the garment. All collar microphones come with a clip that allows you to secure the microphone to the garment. When using, remove the windshield from the microphone, clamp the cable clip, insert the microphone into the ring, then release the clip, secure the microphone, and slide the windshield back to its original position.
2. Hide the lavalier microphone, which can be hidden under the jacket or inside the shirt, or use medical cloth tape to secure the connection line to the inside of the clothes.
3. After fixing the lavalier microphone, connect the microphone to the recording device. If you want to connect to a smartphone or tablet, you need a microphone with a compatible connector; If connecting a camera, a lavalier microphone with TRS jack is required. Wireless connection makes it more convenient.
4. After connecting, test and you can use the lavalier microphone normally.
